Family 2 Family Network
New program for families!
This program combines the important infrastructure network (your family) to the surrounding network (other families). To put it more clearly, we want to help your family reconnect itself and, at the same time, build strong meaningful relationships with other families.
The Silicon Valley provides a great place to live with many activities for the family. The problem is, we become so involved in the planning of the activities and trying to fit them all in, that we stop building on our most important assets, our family. Families have struggles, and the Family 2 Family Network is here to help.
How it Works?
The Family 2 Familiy Network operates like a small group with a monthly gathering in group members home's. You will be gathering around a table for a meal and having activities that focus your time and attention to your family while at the same time, connecting with other families. Our goal is to give you a place where you can feel relaxed and not have responsibilities and the hassles of planning what will happen next. Each meeting will be lead by the program director so there is no need to plan or organize, just show up.
What to Expect
The length of the meeting is two hours. A basic agenda looks like this:
- Kids activity
- Prayers and dinner
- Group activity
- Family project
- Family affirmations and prayer
Who is this for?
This is for single parents, traditional families, blended families, grandparents raising their grandchildren, and the list goes on. We want to celebrate your uniqueness and give your family a place to feel welcomed and loved. The program is based on the principals from the Child & Family Institute. The core of this program is the heart of the family. Family well-being is viewed as both process and goal. Therefore, in all its programs the Institute models and encourages a vital sense of playful and joyful interaction. The goal is to support families working together as they learn to express acceptance, love, and a sense of belonging. The program is geared towards families with children ages 3-12. However if you have children younger within your family, they can be accommodated. We look forward to meeting you!
Children's Programs
Nursery: Age 0 - 2 years
Our nursery provides a safe environment for our littlest guests. Our trained staff will be with your child throughout the entire service. Our nursery is equipped with all of the necessities: changing table, diapers, snacks, swings and lots of age appropriate toys. Drop-off at 10:15
Cherub’s: Age 3 - Kindergarten
Our Cherub’s program offers a safe and fun place for our getting ready to go age group. An average class will offer a short Bible lesson, a craft project to reinforce the lesson as well as a science project for them to touch and feel. Snack and music are a part of every service. Our staff is well trained and loves children. Drop off at 10:15.
King’s Kids: 1st - 5th Grade
This exciting program for children 1st -5th will challenge your child as well as give them a safe secure place where they can be themselves. Activities for this group include games, memory verses, music and crafts. All staff members are well trained. Kid’s attend the beginning of Worship and are dismissed after the opening music and prayer.
Our Children's Programs 3 main goals are:
- Your Child’s Safety
All of our Sunday School teachers are trained and will have had complete background checks.
- Christian Education
The curriculum is well designed and follows the Gospel lessons that we use during worship. Your child will be learning the same things that you learn, at an age appropriate level, while listening to the sermon during worship.
- Community
In an effort to make our children feel included in our worship service we are asking all children to participate in the worship service until just before the sermon at which point they will be dismissed (by age groups) to their Sunday School classrooms. The Children will return to worship in time to take communion.
